We are based in Taranaki, New Zealand.  We operate online and ship within New Zealand only.

Weekend/Public Holiday: CLOSED Orders placed during closed times will not be fulfilled until we open.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

We process and dispatch orders twice a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Orders placed on or before 12 PM on a shipping day will be dispatched that same day.
  • Orders placed after 12 PM may still be dispatched on the same day depending on the order volume, but will generally be shipped on the next available shipping day.

Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be prepared for shipment. During this time, we carefully package and ensure everything is ready for a smooth delivery.

Your order and tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. If you haven’t received tracking information within 5 business days of your purchase, please email us at info@numiavenuscollections.nz or message us on our Facebook page for a faster response.

To ensure your order is shipped promptly, please select the appropriate shipping option based on your address.  If you are in a rural area, please make sure to select the Rural option and include your RD number to avoid any shipping delays.

Your package will be sent to you as soon as possible, and we will do our best to get your order to you promptly! 

Are your contact lenses safe to use?
We prioritise the safety of your eyes Numia Venus contact lenses are safe and approved by FDA & CE ISO 13485 certification.

Do i need a prescription?
No, you do not need a prescription to wear our contact lenses. Although cosmetic contact lenses do not require a prescription it is still recommended to visit your eye care professional to make sure you don’t require a prescription or a special type of lens.

Numia Venus contact lenses are for beauty and cosmetics purposes only. Non-prescription 0.00 powered contact lenses or Plano which is equal to 0.00 powered only changes your iris colour. Please use at your discretion.

Can i sleep or swim with my contact lenses?
No, sleeping or swimming with contact lenses on increases your risk of an eye infection. Remove beforehand.

How long can i wear contact lenses?
Beginner wearers 4 hours or less. When your eyes have adapted to the lenses can wear for longer. Suggested wearing time is no more than 8 hours per day. Non beginners no more than 10-12 hours.

What do i do if the lens irritates my eyes?
Remove the lens immediately and avoid rubbing your eye as this can exacerbate irritation. Place lens in your storage case in fresh multipurpose solution. Check and inspect your eye then rinse with lukewarm water to help clear any irritants or debris. Rest your eyes and avoid wearing the lenses. Try again the next day but remember to inspect the lens for any rips or tears before inserting into your eye.

How do i clean and care for my contact lenses?
Contact lenses should be cleaned and cared for before and after each wear. 

  1. Rinse the Lens:

    • Remove one lens and place it in the palm of your hand.
    • Apply a few drops of contact lens cleaning solution. (Never use water or saliva.)
  2. Rub the Lens:

    • Gently rub the lens with your fingertip in a circular motion for about 10-15 seconds on each side. This helps remove debris and deposits.
  3. Rinse Again:

    • Rinse the lens thoroughly with fresh cleaning solution to remove any loosened debris.
  4. Store in Clean Solution:

    • Place the cleaned lens in your contact lens case filled with fresh multipurpose solution.
    • Repeat the process with the other lens.
  5. Clean the Case:

    • Empty the old solution from your lens case and rinse it with fresh solution.
    • Let the case air-dry upside down on a clean tissue before refilling it.

Contact lens solution in the storage case should be changed every 1 to 3 days even if the lenses are not being worn. Contact lens case should be replaced every 3 months.

When should i replace my contact lenses?
1 yearly (12 months) refers to the life span of the lenses after it has been removed from the sealed package. Recommended replacement is every 6 months if proper care and handling has been done.
